Chinese artist Zhou Yunhua was born in 1935 in Yixing, Jiangsu province. He studied early by himself and later became a member of Chinese Artists Association. He was granted the title Chinese Superior Artist in 1989, an honor he retains today, and used to work as the vice-president of the Changzhou Liu Haisu Art Museum. His Chinese Painting, Surrounded by winds, snows and clouds was selected for exhibit in The National Art Exhibition in 1977. Since then, more than 200 of his masterpieces have been on display in both domestic and overseas exhibitions, many receiving reviews and comment from leading newspapers. Collections of his Chinese Paintings and Paper-cuts have been acquired and retained by the Chinese Art Museum, Chinese Military Museum, Jiangsu Art Museum, Guangdong Art Museum and the Shanghai Liu Haisu Art Museum. In 1994, his large Chinese painting, Picture of the Glorious Morning, was displayed and subsequently published by Beijing Tian'an Men Tower. In 1989 People Art Press published his Chinese Painting Selection. Then in 1998, Guangdong Art Museum published his paper-cuts, Silhouettes of Jiangnan, which was filmed and played by CCTV, JSTV and other TV stations. In 2000, the Chinese painting collections of Zhou Yunhua were published by Hongkong People Art Press, with Silhouettes of Jiangnan Calendar published by the Qingyunge Art Co. Ltd. The calendars--- Depiction of Yanling and Be Flushed With Success were also published in succession by Qingyunge Art Co., Ltd.in 2001 and 2002. Also, Reminiscences of Jiangnan, the Zhou family paper-cutting collection, has been published by Beijing International Art Foundation. His biography was collected and published by more than 10 reference works, such as the Chinese Art Yearbook.

Luo Xiufang |

Luo Xiufang, born in JinTan, JiangSu Province, is a member of the Chinese Paper-cutting Association. She has devoted herself to the art of paper cutting for many years and is famous for her delicate cutting skills. Her masterpiece Hit the Polo was awarded the honor of Excellent Works at the National Genre Painting Competition in 1990. Her other works, such as Picture of Spring Cattle, Play with the jade and Blossoms are collected and exhibited in the Chinese Art Museum. Three other pieces of work, including her Picture of A Hundred Chickens, are in the JiangSu Art Museum as well. |

Zhou Bing |

ZhouBin, also named Muzhi, was born in Jintan, Jiangsu province in 1969. He is a member of the Chinese Paper-cutting Association and the Jiangsu Youth Artists Association. In 1990, his five paper-cuts, including Picture of Happy Fish, were displayed in the first annual Jiangsu Art Exhibition and received the award Artistic Works of Excellence. His three masterpieces, Picture of Hundreds Beast, Numerous Birds Pay Respect to the Phoenix and Be Flushed With Success, were collected and retained by Jiangsu Art Museum. In 1993 he took part in the National Modern Paper-cutting Exhibition in Macau where Spring was retained by the GuangDong Art Museum and Reminiscences of Jiangnan was retained by the LiuHaisu Art Museum. |

ShenFeng |

ShenFeng, born in Changzhou, Jiangsu province in 1970, is also a member of the Chinese Paper-cutting Association. Many of her works have been on display at various times and have also received several awards. She is also a member of Zhou Famliy's Paper-cutting. |

ZhouQun, born in Jintan, Jiangsu province in 1963, is a member of the Chinese Paper-cutting Association. Her paper-cut Dances of Tang Dynasty was displayed in 1993 in the Chinese National Modern Paper-cutting Exhibition and awarded with honors for works of excellence. She is also a member of Zhou Family's Paper-cutting. |
